The present invention relates to a holder for a Ektrktrofahrrad, with a mechanical lock, which is adapted to engage in a connection element on the electric bicycle to keep it lockable, and with a charging connection for supplying the electric bicycle with electric power.
In many cities bicycles are now available for hire to increase the environmentally friendly mobility of the population. In this case, mainly unmanned systems have prevailed that keep locked the bikes and allow the legitimate user to remove, with there are both systems for paid rental and for free hire.
Another trend that can be observed is the fitting of bicycles with electric drives, which can reduce the physical effort of the users and increase the range of action of the average user.
It follows from the above that there is a need for rental systems that are suitable for the provision of electric bicycles, taking into account the specific requirements imposed on publicly available commercial systems.
EP 741 441 A discloses a charging device for an electric bicycle, in which a folding bracket is provided, which has at its tip a receptacle which is adapted to enclose the seat tube of the bicycle and optionally lock and at the same time contacts for charging the batteries which are connected to charging contacts located on the seat tube. With such a charging device, an electric bicycle can be kept locked and charged at the same time without requiring a separate charging cable or the like.
A disadvantage of the described solution is that it is not suitable for use in a rental system. On the one hand, the space requirement is too large if a larger number of electric bicycles to be provided and on the other hand, it can easily come in everyday use contamination of the contacts, which can lead to short circuits or otherwise impaired function.
A similar device with similar disadvantages is also described in the previously prepublished GB 2 455 551 A. «*
From US 5,917,407 A a system is known which is designed for the provision and obstruction of bicycles in rental systems. The space requirement is effectively reduced by the fact that the bikes are taken side by side and each offset in height in a corresponding bracket. The obstruction takes place via a bracket, which is arranged in the region of the handlebar of the bicycle and which is inserted into a corresponding opening in the holder. However, there is no indication of the problem of electric bicycles and their charging made.
Finally, FR 2 828 665 A describes a device for charging electric bicycles, in which a charging plug is attached to the fork of the bicycle. However, an efficient solution for a rental system is not offered in this publication.
Object of the present invention is to provide a holder which avoids the above disadvantages and offers a suitable for a rough rental operation recording for bicycles. In particular, the holder should be mechanically robust, be less susceptible to contamination, moisture or other environmental factors and be less susceptible to interference in electrical terms. The structure should be simple and inexpensive and also a space-saving installation is desirable.
A further object of the invention is to provide an electric bicycle which is well suited for a rental system with the requirements described above and which can be easily operated by the user and which is particularly robust and durable.
Furthermore, the electric bicycle located in the holder, and in particular its electrical components, should be effectively protected against the effects of weather and vandalism.
According to the invention a holder is provided, which is formed in such a way that the lock consists of two opposing locking elements, between which a component of the electric bicycle is receivable and that the charging port has electrical contacts, of which at least one is arranged on each blocking element.
Analogous to and suitable for such a holder, the invention also relates to an electric bicycle with a connection element for obstruction and with a charging connection contact element. It is provided according to the present invention that the connecting element consists of two pins which are arranged on both sides of the electric bicycle and that the charging terminal contact element has at least two charging contacts, of which at least one is arranged on each pin.
Essential to the invention is the fact that the holder not only has a Sperreiement, but has two spatially separated locking elements, which cooperate with two corresponding pin on the electric bicycle.
Another essential aspect of the invention is also that the electrical contacts of the charging port of the holder are also spatially separated from each other, namely each associated with a blocking element. Accordingly, the electric bicycle has a charging terminal contact element with two charging contacts, which are separated from each other, that one is arranged on each pin. As a result, plus pole and negative pole are spatially separated from each other with a relatively large distance, so that even wet, dirty or other influences can not lead to creepage currents or short circuits even if the charging contacts are not covered.
The charging takes place in that the electrical contacts of the charging port of the holder are associated with the charging contacts of the charging terminal contact element, which is automatically effected when the electric bicycle is locked in the holder.
A secure and robust solution is achieved, in particular, in that the blocking elements are arranged in a recess which at least partially receives a wheel of the electric bicycle. In particular, it is advantageous in this context if the recess also accommodates the accumulator of the electric bicycle. This makes it possible to protect this relatively sensitive component from the weather and from unauthorized access, which increases the life accordingly.
A further preferred embodiment of the invention provides that a suspension element has a guide rail on which a pin attached to the electric bicycle is guided, and that at one end of the guide rail, a pawl for receiving the pin is provided, which forms the Sperreiement. This makes the insertion and removal of the electric bicycle easy and user-friendly.
Particularly preferably, the pins of the electric bicycle are integrally formed on a housing for the accumulators, preferably in the region of the rear wheel. In this way, if the bicycle is forcibly removed from the holder, the electrical equipment is destroyed, making it less attractive to potential thieves. * * * «T« · ft · * * ft * ♦ ♦ ft ft * ft - 4 - is to steal the electric bicycle by tearing out of the holder or the like.
Another preferred aspect of the solution according to the invention is that an electronic control is provided which controls both the operation of the blocking element and the charging of the accumulator. As a result, suitable software in conjunction with the requisite sensor technology can ensure, for example, that only sufficiently charged bicycles are output to the users.
As a result, the present invention will be explained in more detail by the embodiments shown in FIGS. Show it:
1 and FIG. 2 a holder according to the invention with an electric bicycle in an axonometric view;
FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 show different installation variants of holding elements, in each case in a view from above;
Fig. 6 is a partial side view of an electric bicycle according to the invention;
FIG. 6a shows a detail of FIG. 6 in a section along the line Via-Via in FIG. 6; FIG.
7 shows a partial view of a holder according to the invention from the front; and
8 is a partial side view of the holder of Fig. 7.
The support member la of a bracket 1 of Fig. 1 is formed, for example, as a concrete column, which receives a single electric bicycle 2, which is inserted into a recess 3, which receives the rear wheel 4 and arranged above the rear wheel 4 housing 5 for the accumulators, the not visible here.
Laterally above the support element la linking elements 6a, 6b are provided on both sides, which serve to connect a plurality of support elements la both mechanically and electrically with each other. This makes it possible to assemble various configurations of brackets according to architectural requirements within wide limits. Three of these configurations are shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and 5.
Fig. 3 illustrates a double-row linear arrangement of four support members 1a each for accommodating an electric bicycle 2, respectively. It is found that * t * * - <- »« '«· *» # - 5 - that a support member 1a is not only For receiving an electric bicycle 2 may be formed, it is equally possible to design support elements la for receiving two or more electric bicycles 2.
Fig. 4 shows a closed polygonal arrangement of six support elements la and Fig, 5 an arcuate arrangement.
It is essential that for a variety of local conditions, a space-saving and at the same time comfortable configuration for the user can be displayed. An operating column for handling the rental and return operations can be integrated into the arrangement analogously via the linking elements 6a, 6b.
Fig. 6 shows schematically the invention essential parts of an electric bicycle according to the invention 2. In a substantially conventional luggage rack 7 on the rear wheel 4, the housing 5 is arranged for receiving the not visible here accumulators. Laterally on the housing 5, pins 8 are provided on both sides, which form the connection elements discussed above, which are provided for the mechanical locking of the electric bicycle 2 in the support elements la. The pins 8 consist of a base body 9 with a D-shaped cross section, on the underside of a support surface 10 is formed. A collar 11 closes the pin 8 to the outside.
On the underside of the base body 9, a spring contact 12 is provided in the support surface 10, which serves for receiving the electric current for charging the batteries and thus the. It is essential that per pin 8 only one pole is provided, i. For example, on a pin 8 of the negative pole and the other pin 8 of the positive pole. As a result, the risk of short circuits due to moisture, dirt or the improper attachment of conductive objects is greatly reduced. Alternatively, one of the poles, e.g. the negative pole are led over the frame of the electric bicycle 2.
A transmission element 13 in the form of an RFID chip is provided in the housing 5 in the vicinity of the pin 8, whereby the respective electric bicycle 2 can be identified when it is inserted into the holder 1.
In Fig. 7 and Fig. 8, a support member la is shown in more detail. In the opening 2 on both sides in each case a guide rail 14 is mounted, which is slightly rising in the insertion direction (arrow 15).
At the rear end of the guide rail 14, a pawl 16 is provided, which is bent from sheet metal and has a substantially U-shaped cross-section • · Μ · ««). · Has "I" - 6 -. The pawl 16 is pivotally mounted about an axis 17 and surrounds on both sides, each with a retaining lug partially the pin 8 in the region of its base body 9, so as to prevent unauthorized removal of the electric bicycle 2. At the opposite end of the pawl 16, an arcuate sliding guide 20 is provided with a corresponding electromagnetic drive to lift the pawl, i. 8 to pivot in the counterclockwise direction to allow removal for the authorized user. These operations are controlled by an electronic control device 21, which also monitors the charging of the accumulators.
At the end of the guide rail 14, a charging connection 19 is arranged on both sides, which has an electrical contact 22, the current supplied for the charging of the accumulators thus being supplied from different sides of the electric bicycle 2. The recording of the current takes place via the spring contacts 12 of the pin. 8
In the support member la and a corresponding transponder 23 is arranged, which is provided for the identification of the electric bicycle 2 via the RFID chip, whereby an exact management of the electric bicycles 2 is possible.
The present invention makes it possible to efficiently provide electric bicycles 2 in a rental system.
